• Weekend Option Night Shift Fri-Sun 1700-0630 (39 hours/week)
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist- $36.76-$56.00 based on experience plus 10% shift differential
  • Medical Laboratory Technician- $28.89-$44.77 based on experience plus 10% shift differential
• 2 Days/1 Night Mon 1700-0630 Thur/Fri 0700-2030 (39 hours/week)
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist- $28.28-$43.84 based on experience plus 10% night shift differential
  • Medical Laboratory Technician- $22.22-$34.44 based on experience plus 10% night shift differential

Essential Functions:

• Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry hematology urinalysis and immunology.
• Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results.
• Ensure quality control in collecting specimens ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up maintain calibrate clean and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
• Comply with all laboratory policies and OSHA regulations related to safety cleanliness and infection control.
• Serve as a back-up to lab manager as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to stand walk grasp carry and speak frequently
• Must be able to occasionally sit reach bend and stoop
• Lifting carrying pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds with assistance if needed
• Frequent use of computer keyboard copy and fax machine and phone.

Skills Abilities:

• Demonstrates executive and leadership skills customer service and problem solving skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to distressed patients families or visitors.
• Possible exposure to inside environmental conditions.

Physical Demands:

• Requires standing sitting or walking for up to 12 hours or longer per day.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• MLT or CLS ASCP CPT or AMT certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical laboratory experience preferred
