Mixed Animal Medical Director (DVM) – Cisco, TX

A veterinary practice is seeking a Medical Director (DVM) to lead its mixed animal team. This is a unique opportunity for a veterinarian who is passionate about leadership enjoys a diverse caseload and wants to make a meaningful impact in both clinical care and practice role combines hands-on medicine with leadership responsibilities offering the chance to shape medical standards mentor a team and contribute to the long-term success of the hospital.

• Perform diagnostics treatment planning and surgical procedures
• Establish and maintain medical protocols and best practices
• Mentor and support clinical team members
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate medical records and oversee quality of care
• Foster a positive collaborative and growth-oriented team culture
• Support business performance and clinical outcomes

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active or eligible veterinary license
• Experience in small animal and/or mixed animal medicine
• Leadership experience or strong interest in a leadership role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to high-quality patient-centered care
