The Mission Enablement Modernization Lead directly supports all areas within Development programs and facilities; proactively managing activities to modernize equipment for future programmatic needs and improve equipment reliability and availability.
- Modernization of production and facilities equipment across Development areas
- Primary interface between Development and the Modernization Program
- Interact with Program Management and EP&C to determine equipment needs based on programs capacity modeling and scheduling demands
- Research technology improvements and requirements to improve current production and meet future programmatic needs
- Complete Functional & Operational Requirements for new equipment
- Work with various disciplines to determine layouts of new equipment to maximize efficiency

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Physical Science Chemistry Physics or related from an Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program in the United States or designated equivalents from Canada or Mexico the Washington Accord or the list of substantially equivalent as documented by ABET AND 7 years of relevant experience.
- OR MS in Engineering/Physical science and 5 years of relevant experience.
- OR PhD in Engineering/Physical science and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with the design project management installation field engineering and maintenance of fabrication production and infrastructure equipment (both electrical and mechanical) is desired as this position will lead the technical efforts to establish plant specific maintenance standards for these aging facilities
- Experience conducting failure investigations and/or performing failure analysis leading to root cause and corrective action is desirable in order to develop Equipment Reliability databases and performance indicators
