Mini-Rack Technician

Provides moderately complex technical assembly and testing with electromechanical assemblies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

* Provides hardware/technical support to systems including upgrades

* Installs maintains and upgrades communication systems

* Combines subassemblies into final assemblies components or apparatus *

* Applies written standard procedures and working technical knowledge to the preventive or simple corrective maintenance of systems *

* Assembles and tests power/data cable assemblies (multiwire and coax) *

* Works from drawings diagrams rough sketches or formal assembly procedures and process control documents to assemble quality components or final products *

* Tests troubleshoots and repairs moderately complex problems *

* May prepare and generate written and/or oral reports on a regular basis
