Job Summary
The Mineral Management Associate is responsible for supporting client engagements related to mineral ownership lease analysis and title review. This role is highly client-facing and requires strong communication skills attention to detail and a working knowledge of oil and gas operations. Ideal candidates may come from land division order or related industry backgrounds.
- Analyze leases title opinions and legal documents to determine ownership interests
- Support lease negotiation reviews and interpret key contractual terms
- Research and resolve ownership and title discrepancies
- Communicate directly with clients landmen operators and attorneys
- Prepare client deliverables and summaries of findings
- Maintain mineral ownership records and systems data
- Collaborate with internal teams on projects and client needs
- Bachelors degree in Business Energy Real Estate or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 12 years of relevant experience in oil & gas land or mineral management
- Understanding of leases titles or division order concepts preferred
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
