Millwright Welder and Foreman

Location: Based in Des Moines IA (Fieldwork throughout Central Iowa)

Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (Overtime available)

Pay Rate:$30.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience)

• Field Autonomy: Work independently in the field to manage day-to-day job site operations safely and efficiently.

• Crew Supervision: Supervise mentor and work alongside a small millwright crew installing repairing and maintaining industrial mechanical systems (conveyors grain elevators and agricultural equipment).

• Turnaround Management: Direct and execute maintenance tasks during planned agricultural facility and plant shutdowns.

• Technical Execution: Perform precise mechanical assembly and field welding utilizing the Stick welding process.

• Blueprint Proficiency: Interpret complex blueprints structural diagrams and technical layouts to guide field installations.

• Site Management: Coordinate directly with Project Managers manage daily safety protocols and enforce OSHA compliance.

• Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Millwright Foreman independently managing a small field crew.

• Trade Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on Millwright experience specifically featuring agricultural shutdown / turnaround work.

• Welding Skills: Proficiency in industrial Stick welding.

• Logistics: Must be comfortable traveling daily to various job sites across Central Iowa.
