MIGTIG Welder

Our client a growing manufacturer of custom industrial equipment and material handling systems is seeking a Welder / Fabricator to join their production team.

This position is responsible for the precision fitting alignment and welding of mechanical equipment and structural components. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will be motivated dependable and capable of interpreting technical drawings and work instructions to ensure quality fabrication and assembly.

As a Welder / Fabricator you will be responsible for reading blueprints fitting components preparing materials and performing quality welds on a variety of equipment and assemblies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety craftsmanship and teamwork.

• Read and interpret technical drawings work orders and fabrication documents
  
• Measure align and fit components using clamps straightedges and precision measuring tools
  
• Prepare materials and components for welding
  
• Set up welding equipment according to specifications and quality requirements
  
• Perform welding operations in various positions while maintaining quality standards
  
• Operate angle grinders sanders saws and other fabrication tools
  
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
  
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
  
• Work independently and as part of a collaborative production team
  
• Assist with fabrication assembly and other production-related tasks as needed
  

• Strong mechanical aptitude
  
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
  
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment

• Commitment to workplace safety
  

• Associates Degree in Welding Manufacturing or a related field
  
• Welding certification from an accredited program
  
• Previous welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment
  
• Experience working with industrial machinery or material handling systems
