SCHEDULE: 260-daywork year; 8 hours per day Monday-Friday

SALARY: $86602 - $102856(2025-2026 salary schedule)based on qualifications and experience

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelorsdegree inEducation Business Administration or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in developing and providing services to culturally and ethnically diverse students and/or families in a school setting.
  • Bilingual/biliterate Spanish/English
  • Supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional cooperative working relationships with staff students patrons and community
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours
  • Knowledge of and ability to understand and implement local policies and procedures andfederal and statelawsrulesand regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment tocustomer service collaboration andidentifyingsolutions to support positive student outcomes;Ability to think divergently.
  • Proven record of working cooperatively with district administration and staff.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office products with strongproficiencyin Excel.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision produce quality workproduct and actin accordance withexpectations of integrity professionalism and confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

  • Knowledge and/or experience in data analysis various computer systems and applications
  • Knowledge of Federal/State Grant Application processes

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • TheMigrantCoordinator will oversee programs targeting migrant students and families. TheMigrant Coordinator will work closely and regularly with his/her supervisor. He/she will guide migrant staff to implement programs that supportmigrantstudents.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides leadership in planning implementing and evaluating the districts Migrant Education Program to ensure equitable access and improved outcomes for eligible students.
  • Manages the districts federal Migrant Education Program grant including program planning budgeting compliance reporting and monitoring of state and federal requirements in partnership with the Assistant Superintendent or designee.
  • Supervises and supportsall migrant staff toensure high-quality program implementation.
  • Plans and facilitates regular meetings with program staff in coordination with thesupervisor to promote collaboration professional learning and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with building administrators and district leaders to coordinate services address student needs and ensure alignment with district priorities.
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with OSPI Educational Service Districts neighboring school districts and community organizations to strengthen services and opportunities for migrant students and families.
  • Coordinates parent and family engagement activities related to the Migrant Education Program and other assigned special programs.
  • Monitors program documentation including time-and-effort reporting student records and other required compliance measures.
  • Interprets district goals program objectives and available services to students families staff and community partners.
  • Attends district regional and state meetings trainings and professional learning related to migrant education and special programs.
  • Manages special projects and performs other related duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent or designee.

REPORTS TO:

AssistantSuperintendent of Schools and Student Supportsordesignee.

EVALUATION:

Performance of the job will be evaluated annuallyin accordance withprovisionsof the Boards policy on evaluation of all employees.
