1st and 2nd shifts 5am-2:30pm and 4pm-2:30am M-S $21-$24

Job Duties:

Perform welding and flame-cutting operations to join repair or cut metal components according to blueprints layouts and work orders.

Set up position and secure materials using jigs or fixtures; prepare surfaces by cleaning preheating and adjusting equipment settings before welding.

Inspect completed welds for quality and specifications removing excess material through grinding or chipping as necessary.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or vocational training preferred.

12 years of experience in a manufacturing or welding environment.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including prolonged standing heavy lifting and working in various welding positions (flat vertical overhead).

Ability to weld up to 1 inch thick.

Ability to lift and or move up to 75lbs. throughout the entire shift.

Ability to stand walk bend and stoop.

Ability to perform manual tasks requiring hand use such as handling touching and feeling items.

Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
