JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified - American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Licenses: Active Texas Medical License
- DEA: Active Texas DEA
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-scope midwifery experience; Minimum of 2 years of recent first assist experience (within the past 2 years)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope midwifery care in an inpatient hospital setting.
- Support patients throughout labor and delivery including first assist duties.
- Manage intrapartum postpartum and OB triage patients.
- Perform well-woman gynecologic exams across the lifespan.
- Participate in 12-hour or 24-hour in-house call coverage.
