Middle School Math Teacher

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned toNorth Carolina Standard Course of Study for Math 1 & Math 2 including:
• Linear quadratic and exponential relationships
• Functions and modeling
• Systems of equations and inequalities
• Descriptive statistics data analysis and probability
• Algebraic reasoning and mathematical justification
• Use multiple instructional strategies (direct instruction collaborative learning problem-based learning and math discourse) to meet diverse student needs
• Regularly assess student understanding using formative and summative assessments
• Analyze data to identify misconceptions and adjust instruction accordingly
• Support students in developingconceptual understanding procedural fluency and real-world application
• Implement intervention and enrichment strategies as needed
• Maintain a structured supportive and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborate with instructional coaches PLCs and support staff
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
• Uphold school policies expectations and professional responsibilities
