    Corpus Christi Catholic Schoolis seeking a faith-filled dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School teacher to join our vibrant school community.     Position Overview

    The Math and History Middle School Teacher is responsible for creating a joyful engaging and academically rigorous classroom environment rooted in Catholic identity and Gospel values. The successful candidate will foster a love of learning while supporting the unique gifts and needs of every child.

    Responsibilitiesinclude:

    • Integrate Catholic values throughout the curriculum and actively participate in the faith life of the school.
    • Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned and differentiated instruction in a safe welcoming and orderly classroom.
    • Promote respect responsibility and positive behavior.
    • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies experiences tools and activities to inspire student engagement.
    • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
    • Collaborate with colleagues administration support staff and families.
    • Participate in curriculum planning professional development opportunities faculty meetings and school initiatives.
    • Organize projects field experiences and experiential learning opportunities.
    • Contribute positively to the school community.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Practicing Catholics in good standing are encouraged to apply particularly for positions teaching religion. Non-Catholic candidates must be willing to support and respect the mission teachings and values of Catholic education.
    • Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or a related field preferred.
    • Teaching experience preferred.
    • Teaching certification preferred. Otherwise candidates must be willing to work on obtaining one within 3 years.
    • Strong classroom management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with the school community.
    • Organizational skills flexibility creativity and a growth mindset.
    • Pennsylvania clearances as required by law.
