Middle School Head Girls Soccer Coach

Ridgefield Academy is an independent coeducational day school serving grades PreK-8. We are seeking a Head Coach for girls soccer in our Middle School sports program for grades 6-8. This position is for the fall season beginning on September 2 2026 and ending on November 12 Include:Organize and run practices to help improve athletes fundamental skills form and staminaMaintain rosters and team recordsMentor players to develop sportsmanship and respect for the gameCoach games and motivate student-athletes consistent with the schools athletic philosophyRide on bus to and from gamesAssure parents sign out child when leaving from a gameBe aware of safety conditionsAdhere to the schools mission and abide by the coaching handbookCommunicate as needed with the Athletic DirectorRequirements:Must have at least 2 years prior experience coaching youthMust be punctual and proactive in coaching and leading a sports teamMust provide three professional references and pass a background checkMust have a High School diploma Bachelors Degree a plusThe coaching commitment is typically Monday through Thursdays from 2:30-3:30. Games are usually every week and are typically scheduled from 3:45pm to 5:00pm not including travel time back to campus from games away. There are no weekend is a stipend position based on experience.
