Summary
Kahler Middle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our athletic department as a Middle School Football Coach for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the game of football and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for student-athletes. This seasonal position will focus on developing players skills teamwork and sportsmanship while promoting the values of hard work and discipline.

Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct daily practice sessions that focus on skill development teamwork and game strategies.
- Organize and oversee team activities including practices games and team meetings.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training program that emphasizes physical fitness technique and game understanding.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to student-athletes encouraging personal growth and academic success.
- Communicate effectively with players parents and school administration regarding team expectations schedules and any concerns.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices and games.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote a positive sports culture within the school.
- Monitor and evaluate player performance providing constructive feedback to enhance development.
- Maintain equipment and facilities in accordance with safety standards and school policies.

Requirements
- Previous coaching experience preferably at the middle school or high school level is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of football fundamentals strategies and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with other coaches and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to the season).
- Must pass a background check and comply with all school district policies and procedures.
- A passion for working with middle school students and a commitment to their personal and athletic development.
