Middle School East Yearbook Advisor (Immediate Start)

About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6300 students and employs 850 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

• Student Guidance: Recruit supervise and teach students basic layout design photography interviewing copywriting and editing skills.
• Project Management: Create a production schedule with clear deadlines to ensure the book is completed on time.
• Content Coordination: Organize coverage of school sports classes clubs and special events.
• Quality & Policy Control: Review and edit all student work for accuracy proper grammar and school appropriateness.
• Administrative Tasks: Manage the yearbook budget coordinate sales campaigns and communicate directly with Jostens.

Start date: ASAP

Schedule:At least one session with students after school every week. Students will meet after school and go until tbd.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience coaching or participation inteam-building time management and organizing and completing tasks.

Stipend Starting Salary Range: $3621-3978 according totheYearbook Group of Schedule C of theCertified Master Contract 2025-2027.

Benefits:No benefit eligibilty other thanEarned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)as provided by law.
