Job Title: Tax Associate Attorney (4-6 Years Experience)
Location: Downtown Los Angeles
Salary Range:
As per the CA Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act the expected salary range for this position is between $275000 - $375000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

We are a highly reputable law firm with a rich history of providing top-tier legal services. Currently we are seeking a talented Tax Associate with 4-6 years of relevant experience to join our esteemed Taxation Practice Group.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- JD from an ABA-approved law school.
- Background in tax such as an LLM or concentration of classes in income tax-related subjects.
- Active member of the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
- Positive attitude dedication to serving clients and a willingness to learn and improve.
- Strong analytical drafting and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Top academics and experience required AmLaw 100 experience strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling tax matters related to fund formation investment management transactions and partnership taxation.
- Experience in mergers acquisitions and divestitures representing buyers and sellers in transaction tax matters.
- Providing tax counseling for choice of entity LLC agreement and tax-side transactional work (preferred).
- Strong writing communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
