ITA is seeking a Mid-Level Microsoft Cloud Architect to join the team in Fort Eustis Virginia in a hybrid position.

We are seeking an experiencedMid-Level Microsoft Cloud Architectto support the U.S. Army T2COM mission. The Microsoft Cloud Architect will support the design implementation integration and sustainment of secure and scalable cloud solutions leveragingMicrosoft Azure Microsoft 365 Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior architects Power Platform developers cloud engineers cybersecurity personnel Business Analysts and government stakeholders to translate mission and technical requirements into practical cloud architectures.

The position will focus on developing and implementing cloud capabilities that support application modernization data integration automation identity and access management collaboration analytics and enterprise application delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience operating withinDoD or federal government environmentsand understand the additional security compliance governance and operational requirements associated with government cloud platforms.

• Support the designand implementation ofMicrosoft cloud architecturessupporting T2COM missionrequirements.
• Develop technical architecturesleveragingMicrosoft Azure Microsoft365 Power Platform and related services.
• Translate business application security data andinfrastructure requirementsinto cloud-basedtechnical solutions.
• Develop architecture diagrams solution designs technicalspecifications and implementationplans.
• Support cloud applicationmodernization and migrationinitiatives.
• Design and implementintegrations between Azure Microsoft 365 PowerPlatform enterprise applications databases and externalsystems.
• Evaluate existing infrastructureand applications andrecommend appropriate cloudmodernization strategies.
• Support development ofsecure scalable highlyavailable and maintainablecloud solutions.
• Work with seniorarchitects to establishand enforce cloudarchitecture standardspatterns and bestpractices.
• Support cloud governance configuration management resource organizationand operational standards.
• Design and implementsolutions involving Azurecompute storage networking identity integrationmonitoring and securityservices.
• Support implementation ofMicrosoft Entra IDidentity and accessmanagement capabilities.
• Assist with role-based access control managed identities authentication authorization and least-privilege implementation.
• Support Power Platformenvironments and integrationswith Azure andMicrosoft 365 services.
• Assist with designof APIs integrationservices event-drivensolutions and dataexchange mechanisms.
• Work with cybersecuritypersonnel to addressapplicable security controlsand authorization requirements.
• Support implementation oflogging monitoring auditing and security visibilitycapabilities.
• Participate in architecturereviews technical designreviews and solutionassessments.
• Evaluate proposed Microsofttechnologies and determinetheir suitability formission requirements.
• Support cloud deploymentand Application LifecycleManagement (ALM) processes.
• Collaborate with developersand engineers toensure architectural designsare implemented asintended.
• Develop reusable cloudarchitecture patterns andreference implementations.
• Provide technical guidanceand mentorship tojunior cloud engineersand technical personnel.
• Maintain technical documentationand cloud architectureartifacts.
• Support system accreditation security documentation configuration management and technical reviewsas required.
• Monitor emerging Microsoftcloud capabilities andrecommend technologiesthat provide missionvalue.

• Design and support Azure cloud solutions leveraging Databricks Microsoft Fabric/Synapse Azure Storage Accounts Azure SQL Azure Machine Learning Studio API Management and Azure Data Factory.

• Perform other cloud architecture and engineering duties as required.

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science InformationTechnology Engineering Cybersecurity or arelated technical discipline or equivalent professionalexperience.
• 5 years ofexperiencein cloud computing systems engineering infrastructurearchitecture solutionsarchitecture or arelated field.
• 3 years ofhands-on experiencewith Microsoft Azureand/or Microsoft365 cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated experiencedesigning or implementingcloud-based technicalsolutions.
• Strong understanding ofcore Azure services including:

• Experience developing architecturediagrams and technicaldesign documentation.
• Experience integrating cloudservices with enterpriseapplications and datasources.
• Understanding of cloudsecurity governance monitoring and operational management.
• Experience working withinstructured software development infrastructure or ITservice management processes.
• Familiarity with PowerPlatform and Microsoft365 integration patterns.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting communication and documentationskills.
• Ability to obtainand maintain therequired security clearance.

Pay range for this position is $125000 - $140000 annually.

This position has a broad compensation range due to the complexities of government contracting including contract pricing labor category requirements funding parameters and varying levels of candidate experience and qualifications.
