The Jira Analyst will provide support to NASAs Human Landing System (HLS). The candidate will work with a ride range of technical disciplines and project leadership at Marshall Space Flight Center. The primary responsibilities of the position may include (but are not limited to):
- Gather requirements for processes and determine ways to build/optimize/improve software tools in Jira and confluence
- Provide application support for JIRA and Confluence across the Human Landing System (HLS) Program
- Create JIRA projects queries and reports as required
- Experience with performing all areas of JIRA administration including systems administration application management change control risk management and validation and verification for multiple product baselines
- Support SharePoint JIRA and Confluence users
- Work with project leads to create custom dashboards
- Utilizes design skills to define JIRA workflows and the related screen schemes for complex and high impact projects
- Support and configure JIRA plugins as required
- Generate documentation and training for Jira workflows and processes
- Maintain awareness of Agency Application changes to Atlassian tools and manage licenses.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics) field or a related technical discipline
- Must have a minimum of 10 years total experience with 5 years working directly with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence)
- Experience working in a technical field while interacting with multiple focus areas or elements
- Familiar with Engineering projects and processes
