Job Description

What you will be doing:

Advise institutional investors developers and private equity clients on a wide range of commercial real estate matters.
Structure and execute acquisitions dispositions and financings across diverse asset classes (office retail logistics healthcare/senior living student housing hospitality data centers).
Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements loan documents commercial leases and joint venture agreements.
Conduct and manage due diligence including title survey environmental and zoning reviews.
Advise on development projects from entitlement through completion.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across tax construction planning & zoning and other practice areas.
Support clients with day-to-day operational real estate matters including lease amendments assignments subleases and tenant issues.

Experience you will need:

J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials.
4 – 6 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
Admission to the bar in the state of location preference (or ability to become admitted promptly).
Demonstrated experience in real estate transactions including acquisitions dispositions financing and leasing.
Exceptional drafting negotiation and communication skills.
Experience with multi-jurisdictional transactions.
Familiarity with real estate development and capital markets structures.
Exposure to institutional clients private equity funds and REITs.
