Microsoft Dynamics GP Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics GP Developer responsible for designing developing customizing and supporting Dynamics GP (Great Plains) ERP solutions. The role involves building integrations optimizing database performance and collaborating with finance/business stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

System Development & Customization

• Develop and deploy custom solutions in Dynamics GP using:
  • Dexterity
  • Modifier with VBA
  • Visual Studio Tools
• Customize ERP modules to meet financial and operational requirements

Integration Development

• Build integrations between Dynamics GP and enterprise systems (CRM billing HR)
• Use:
  • eConnect
  • Integration Manager
  • C# / .NET APIs

Database & Reporting

• Develop and optimize:
  • SQL queries stored procedures functions triggers
• Create reports using:
  • SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • SmartList Builder

Support & Troubleshooting

• Act as escalation point for Dynamics GP issues
• Resolve:
  • System errors
  • Performance bottlenecks
  • Data integrity issues

System Upgrades & Maintenance

• Support Dynamics GP upgrades patches and ISV integrations
• Perform testing and deployment activities

Documentation & Collaboration

• Create technical documentation for customizations and integrations
• Work with finance teams business analysts and stakeholders

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

• Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
• Dexterity eConnect Integration Manager
• C# / .NET Development

Database Expertise

• Microsoft SQL Server
• T-SQL (Advanced)
• SSIS SSRS
• Understanding of Dynamics GP database schema

Functional Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to debug complex integrations and workflows
• Communication with non-technical business users

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Dynamics GP migration experience Dynamics 365 (Business Central / F&O)
• Power BI integration
• Experience in:
  • Healthcare / clinical / financial workflows
• Microsoft certifications
