Position: Microsoft 365 & Intune Engineer
Duration/Terms: 6-9 months
Onsite/ Remote: Hybrid - 4 days onsite 1 day remote - LA (Centruy City) or NYC

Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Engineer specializing in Microsoft 365 and enterprise endpoint management to join the Ares M365 Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with M365 collaboration suite. This role will be responsible for the deployment and ongoing enhancement of Microsoft 365 solutions with a focus on optimizing endpoint management through the best industry practices.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Cybersecurity Compliance and other governance stakeholders to advance the organizations security posture. The Senior Engineer will drive continuous improvement initiatives support the digital workplace strategy and contribute technical leadership across a broad portfolio of workplace technologies. The position offers significant opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and professional growth within the M365 workspace.

M365 Engineer US
Primary must have skills: SharePoint Teams OneDrive for Business
Secondary skills: Exchange Compliance (Global Relay Proofpoint) Intune
Experience: 7 8 years
Able to comprehend best practices/ suggest improvements/ cyber findings
Social strong team player communication style available during work hours
Strong documenter in Jira
Comfortable with operational day to day ticketing escalation work risk finding / risk register dev environments

Experience Required:
7 years of experience with the Microsoft 365 platform including SharePoint OneDrive Teams.
7 years in Solution Engineering
Well-versed in Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Single Sign-On (SSO)
Proficient in automation using PowerShell
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online and email security solutions (e.g. Proofpoint Mimecast) is a plus
Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles and best practices
3 years as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in enterprise mobile device management (Intune JAMF AirWatch) is a plus
Familiarity with ITIL processes such as Incident and Change Management
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable working globally with diverse teams
Customer-focused business-oriented and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
Agile experience preferred
