The Lead Coach is responsible for the development of the Micro Multi-Sport Program staying up to date with Action Sport industry standards and trends as a coach and athlete from recreational level to the expert competitor. This position trains coaches to ensure up to date progressionsare delivered centered around camper safety and includes trail/park etiquette and rider responsibility. The Lead Coach implements appropriate games challenges and activities throughout the week that drive campers skill development and sport passion through goal setting with measurable outcomes.

This position requires oversight and management of all equipment features parks and cleanliness in the Woodward Bunker facility and outdoor/on hill zones.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality instruction for safe skill progression and a fun learning environment

  • Develop caring relationships with campers and help provide the best camp experience

  • Make sure the basic needs of your campers are met both physiological and emotional

  • Be present and assist with camper check-in and check-out procedures communicate with parents daily

  • Be aware ofinjuries special needs allergies and/or mediations and communicate with medical staffand parents

  • Participatein recreation activities with enthusiasm and encourage campers to do the same

  • Always uphold the highest standard of professionalism in appearance and behavior: arrive on time maintain a positive and friendly attitude behave in a mannerappropriate toour youngest campers (4 years old)

  • General cleaning and maintenance of facilities including the BunkerCafeteria Meeting Areas and campus and other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate or stronger skills in at least one of our 5 primary Action Sports

  • Experience working with children

  • Team building / Conflict resolution experience preferred

  • Strong diverse communication and effective group management skills
