Job Description Summary:
This role willbe responsible forlong term supply plans that support demand requirements and are aligned to financial plans. You will implement andmaintaina SIOP supply planning process tooptimizelead timeserviceand inventory levels. Youimplement medium and long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues continuity of supply and inventory in support of business growth.
Role Responsibilities:
Oversees long term supply planning activities including supply and demand balancing and long-term capacity planning.
Work closely with Demand and Supply Chain teams to translate andvalidatedemand plans in a 3 to18 monthhorizon as part of an input to the monthly Executive SIOP whileoptimizingcustomer delivery and inventory levels
Identifykey data needs metrics inputsthat will help drive the correct business decisions in the overall SIOP process. Understand and communicate plan changesrisksand overall process performance
Spearhead monthly supply planning meeting with manufacturing locations and materials teams to ensure the supply plans are in line with the demand plan. Facilitate decisions around materials equipmentlaborand all other resources needed to support demand over the SIOP planning horizon
Collaborate with Sales Demand Planning Material Managers and Production Planning group to generate recommendations to solve capacity issues and support long term sales demand
Measure analyze and report key SIOP supply metrics whilemonitoringadherence to key performance indicators (KPIs)
Manage long-term rough-cut capacity views with scenario planning being able toidentifyconstraintsand escalate exceptions for business consideration with the suggestion ofpossible scenariosand solutions.
Identifyresolveand escalate supply chain risks including but not limited to production disruptions and inventory shortages
Provide regular updates on supply statusrisksand opportunities to all key internal partners
Lead Inventory Management Process for designated BU. Collaborate with sites and business units to drive DIOH targets
Manage inventory of new and phase out products with key business partners via product life cycle management process
Play a key role to E&O inventory reviews root cause analysis and develop action plans to reduce excess inventory
Role Purpose:
Drive the SIOP Supply planning process. Ensures the plan includes stocking and capacity levels to meet global customer requirements as well as achieving the companys financialobjectives.
This role willbe responsible forNorth America LCML supply planning that includes 2 manufacturing sites and revenue of $1.5B.
Knowledge & Experience:
Advanced business knowledge general management and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams.
Action oriented results driven with strong analytical andproblem solvingskills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently collaboratively and effectively manage multiple projects at the same time
Demonstrated effective project management skills and experience.
Strong business acumen specific to Inventory Revenue Units and Margin.
MinimumRequirements:
Bachelors degree
7 years of experience in Supply Chain (SIOP Forecasting Demand Planning Supply Planning Inventory Planning Materials Management Master Planning Scheduling)
10% international travel
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96000.00 - $192000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include but are not limited to skills education experience and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.Other Compensation
Thisposition is entitled to short-term cash incentives subject to plan requirements.Benefits
