Summary:

Responsibilities:
Plans organizes budgets staffs coordinates controls and directs assigned resources to accomplish department objectives.
Establishes policies relating to operational procedures and administration of assigned personnel.
Arranges subordinate functions and assigns responsibilities.
Evaluates manpower needs; identifies shortfalls recruits interviews and trains new personnel.
Reviews work of subordinates and provides guidance clarification and motivation.
Monitors quantity and quality of work produced through audits inspections reports expenditures etc. and institutes corrective action where needed.
Coordinates with other departments to ensure efficient flow of communications and service.
Determines funding requirements prepare budget documents monitors status of allocated funds and controls expenses.
Assumes the authority of and acts on behalf of a more senior official.
Performs any other duties as assigned.

Experience: One (1) year of increasingly responsible experience a management position directly involved in the supervision of personnel material resources or large amounts of funds. Experience as described above may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the educational requirement. A masters degree or higher in Management Business Administration Public Administration or related field may substitute for one year of the experience requirement.
Language Skills: Reads analyzes and interprets all kinds of documents. Responds to inquiries or complaints from employees regulatory agencies or community. Writes speeches and effectively presents to managers the public and school board.
Mathematical Skills: Calculates figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Applies concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Defines problems collects data establishes facts and draws valid conclusions. Interprets an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deals with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office.
