MFG Process Operator Week Days (5am to 5pm)

Under general supervision this positionis responsible foroperatingand maintaining cooking and depositing equipment used in the manufacturing of vitamin products. This position has a four tier/level (I II III and IV) program which honors all three components of what makes a Process Operator successful: Skills Education and and Responsibilities:Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) company policies safety policies and practices quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety quality and regulatory assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to all company safety regulations and all kitchen equipment to regulate dosing of raw ingredients and cooking process as defined by Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs) to ensure product meets equipment and perform tasks within one of the following areas: Mogul Equipment Kitchen Operations or Sorting & to followestablished MMRs and SOPs to ensure product meets Dry rooms and Oiler following procedures and and record quality inspections as required by our quality systems and equipment adjustments to regulate temperature dosing PH board weight etc. following established product changeovers as immediate supervisor of any problems encountered while attempting to cook material issues transactions as in equipment troubleshooting and repairs as cleaning and light preventive maintenance activities as directed by the Maintenance information pertaining to quality downtime and equipment a clean neat and organized work other related duties as Job Requirements:High school diploma (1) year of manufacturing experience Skills and AbilitiesAbility to deal with problems involving variables in standardized to operate hand to perform basic arithmetic to write routine reports and to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating maintenance instructions and procedure to work scheduled shift and overtime as to read write and speak effectively in to work as scheduled and in a timely to promote teamwork demonstrate a good attitude exhibit flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as to pass the medical evaluation for the Respiratory Protection to meet and maintain all the requirements of the Mask Fit to maintain punctuality and predictable Conditions:Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures dirt dust fumes smoke unpleasant odors and/or loud wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room physicalactivityrequires standingclimb bendingtwistingand/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per be able to lift and carry items weighing 50 be able to perform work onsite and be comfortable in a light industrial environment including some exposure to non-toxic proudly offer: Medical Dental Vision 401K with Company Match Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events Summer Picnic Festive Packages Holiday Celebrations and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011 Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Islands Top Workplaces Award 7 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
