MFEEP Retrofit Energy Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bronx NY for a MFEEP Retrofit Energy Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting energy audits identifying retrofit opportunities and implementing measures for improved energy efficiency. Daily responsibilities include drafting energy analysis reports reviewing mechanical systems monitoring energy savings and collaborating with clients and team members to optimize energy projects. Regular inspections and performance assessments of energy systems will also be integral to this role.

• Expertise in Energy Engineering with a strong understanding of energy systems and solutions
• Proficiency in Energy Management and Analytical Skills for conducting energy audits and developing efficiency strategies
• Background in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to analyze and improve mechanical systems
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with energy-efficient technologies and retrofit projects
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in evaluating energy performance
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with clients and internal teams
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Energy or a related field is preferred
• Certification in energy auditing or energy management (e.g. CEM LEED accreditation) is a plus
