Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesStructural Engineering LeadershipLead structural design and analysis for boom scissor chassis and platform structural architectures aligned with performance durability manufacturability and cost detailed FEA modelling fatigue analysis and simulation structural integrity across all duty cycles and extreme test Execution & ComplianceEnsure all structural designs comply with ANSI CSA CE ISO and other global AWP regulatory highquality structural documentation including DFMEAs design reviews and engineering with Test & Validation to define structural test plans and interpret physical test rootcause investigations for structural issues and implement corrective -Functional CollaborationSupport NPIP teams to ensure new products achieve structural and safety with Current Product Engineering to resolve field structural issues and drive with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to optimise structural designs for structural-critical features are maintained throughout prototype builds and Mentorship & InfluenceServe as the structural subject matter expert for the Access junior engineers in analysis methodologies design principles and best to engineering standards process improvements and innovation duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering Structural Engineering or related Aerial Work Platform (AWP) structural design experience is mandatory.7 years of structural engineering experience including advanced FEA and fatigue understanding of welded structures high-strength steels and loadbearing with global regulatory standards for AWP in structural analysis tools such as Ansys or to work effectively across global engineering in prototype development and structural test of DFM DFA and manufacturing pass any drug screens background checks and any pre-employment tests which will be conducted in accordance with applicable QualificationsExperience with NX and Engineer (PE) license or Skills Abilities & CompetenciesStrong engineering judgement and decision-makingEffective cross-functional communicationLeadership in design reviews and technical discussionsProblem-solving and analytical thinkingContinuous improvement mindsetJob ConditionsManufacturing/factory environment.
