Looking for a fun active summer job working with kids

Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring energetic Summer Camp Coaches and Camp Counselors for our youth baseball and softball camps in Brooklyn. This is a paid seasonal position working with campers ages 413 in a positive team-focused environment.

Whether youre a college student student-athlete teacher coach education major recent graduate or someone who enjoys working with children this is a great opportunity to spend your summer outdoors while building leadership and coaching experience.

No professional coaching experience is requiredwe provide the training curriculum and equipment.

Available camp weeks:

• July 2731 (Required)
• August 1721
• August 24-28

• Coach and mentor campers ages 413
• Lead baseball and softball drills games and skill-building activities
• Help create a safe positive and energetic camp environment
• Encourage teamwork confidence sportsmanship and personal growth
• Work alongside experienced coaches and camp leadership
• Assist with daily camp operations and camper supervision

This position is ideal for:

Previous experience working with children through camps coaching tutoring childcare recreation or youth programs is a plus but not required.

Location: Brooklyn NY

Schedule: MondayFriday approximately 8-hour shifts

Pay: $17.00$23.00 per hour depending on experience
