Metrology Delivery Driver
The Metrology Delivery Driver reports directly to the Team Leader Manager or Director depending on the organizational structure. These positions are non-exempt. Travel up to 50% may be required based on project and client needs.
PCI is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Metrology Delivery Driver to support our Service Center and field operations. This part-time position is ideal for someone with a background in warehouse operations customer service metrology instrumentation calibration military technical work or field service who is looking for a flexible opportunity.

Driving: Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver orders and equipment valid drivers license and clean MVR required
Expectations:
As a Metrology Delivery Driver you will perform a variety of duties required to offer our customers world class service and support. Youll pick up and deliver orders ship and/or receive materials and maintain stock areas and inventory. Well also count on you to use your strong customer service skills when interacting with customers at the Service Center as well as when youre delivering orders.
The overall goal is to partner with our Service Center operations team to provide first class service for our customers. This will grow our business at existing customers develop new customers and meet or exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction. Responsibilities/Assignments:
Ship and/or receive materials maintain stock areas and inventory
Use pallet jacks simple hand and power tools weighing scales postage meters
Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver orders and equipment
Assist in data entry telephone service order pulling and customer calls as needed
Assist Customer Support with check in of client equipment and shipment to 3rd party
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Updating CMMS with shipping and/or delivery information
Contacting customers with delivery status updates and schedules
Maintain clean driving record
Skills Required:
1 year warehouse or customer service experience
Written and verbal communication skills including English grammar
Basic computer skills accurate data entry skills math & mechanical aptitude basic reading skills
CMMS experience is preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods of time walk bend and regular lifting of 50 lbs
Ability to drive a box truck and delivery van
Driving up to 8 hours a day and overnight stays
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license & clean driving record (MVR)
Experience & Education Required for the Metrology Delivery Driver:
A two-year degree in Engineering Life Sciences other related technical field or equivalent military training or two years of applicable (Metrology Instrumentation Calibration) experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
