Role Description

The Metal Finisher is responsible for setting up and operating metal finishing equipment materials and parts to prepare products for final production. This position uses manual and power hand tools to grind sand buff and polish a variety of metal components. The Metal Finisher reads and interprets blueprints inspects finished products for quality defects and ensures all work meets established specifications. The role requires maintaining a clean and organized work area following safety procedures and supporting production requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to inspect finished products and identify quality defects
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
• Ability to safely operate metal finishing equipment and tools
• Experience using manual and power hand tools including grinders sanders buffers and polishing equipment
• Ability to stand reach and move continuously throughout the workday
• Ability to regularly bend stoop and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Ability to meet production goals and quality standards
