Metal Building Erectors

Location: De Pere WI
Job Type: Contract
Project Duration: 4 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time 40 Hours per Week
Pay: Up to $35.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Metal Building Erectors for a 4-week commercial construction project in the De Pere WI area. We are seeking dependable professionals with experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings and structural steel systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors at heights and as part of a fast-paced construction team.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble and erect pre-engineered metal building systems including structural steel framing wall panels and roof systems
• Read and interpret blueprints shop drawings and project specifications
• Measure align and install structural components accurately
• Bolt weld or fasten steel components as required
• Install insulation siding trim and other building materials
• Safely operate aerial lifts forklifts hoists and other construction equipment
• Maintain a clean safe work area while following OSHA and jobsite safety standards
• Work with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience erecting metal buildings structural steel or related commercial construction
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor weather conditions
• Experience using hand tools power tools and construction equipment
• Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
