Merchant Services Account Executive Business Development

Job Summary
This role can be based in Houston or Dallas.
This role is designed for highperforming sales professionals who excel in a relationshipled environment. You will be responsible for driving Merchant Services revenue growth across a local geographic territory supporting Business Banking clients with $110MM in annual revenue.
Success in this role requires a balance of proactive external prospecting and leveraging bank / banker relationships. You will generate new opportunities through targeted outreach referrals from Business Banking Relationship Managers (BBRMs) and effective use of CRM insights which position Merchant Services as a critical component of the clients broader financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and acquire new Merchant Services clients within the Business Banking segment
Partner closely with BBRMs and other bank stakeholders to uncover opportunities and deliver integrated solutions
Execute disciplined outbound activity including targeted outbound outreach and referralbased prospecting to build a strong pipeline
Lead client engagements from discovery through close aligning solutions to operational and cashflow needs
Develop and execute territoryspecific growth strategies that support bank objectives for deposit growth retention and fee income
Serve as a trusted advisor reinforcing the banks value proposition and longterm client relationships
Some in-person installation support in conjunction with dedicated internal resources

- Markets credit card systems and support services for business customers. Attracts and retains client relationships to meet sales objectives.
- Develops and maintains relationships with clients. Identifies client requirements and recommends appropriate services.
- Responds to customer inquiries on internal products services and credit card processing activities for the industry.
- Manages collects and reports on sales statistics.
- Interfaces with various sales channels to facilitate the prompt referral of leads beyond the target market.
