Merchandising Support Specialist, Merchandising Item Management

Provides administrative data management transactional and program execution support on the Item Management team for Merchandising. Duties are varied but could include: data management researching data inconsistencies and handling ad-hoc requests. Ensures deliveries are monitored as to schedule suitability and completion. Ensures effective planning calendar management company supplier communication and internal coordination.

Key job responsibilities
Supports Category Merchants Inventory Planners and Local Team throughout the category review promotions and seasonal programs & processes with a focus on supplier & item data integrity accuracy and completeness.
Partners with Stores and Regional Operations to deliver a best-in-class customer experience by efficiently and effectively solving MOSST & DataMonster Tickets.
Provides a high level of service to business partners to ensure successful completion of supplier and item onboarding and offboarding.
initiates and completes the set up for each item across various programs and systems such as SCP IX-One ICON and IRMA.
Initiates and completes Supplier Compliance Program (SCP) for each item.
Validate item authorizations across the appropriate region and store designations are in place prior to product launch.
New Item Setup includes assigning the appropriate designation for items across various fields such as Global/Regional/Metro/Subteam/Hierarchy.
Researches and resolves item set up risk issues by checking various systems and partnering with teams for support on a timely basis. (SCP IX-One ICON and IRMA)
Monitors new item reports surfaces issues and executes changes/updates tocompletion for assortment readiness across all tools and systems.

Our mission is to support the smooth execution of Merchandising events inclusive of Category Review Promotions Seasonal and New Store Openings Remodels and Reflows by ensuring accurate and timely Item Set-Up Item Maintenance and Item Discontinuation service of our Store Team Members and Customers experience we will swiftly and accurately resolve inquiries in our Data Monster and MOSST Ticketing platforms.


- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word SharePoint and PowerPoint)
- Experience performing data analysis and troubleshooting data integrity issues
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of Excel at a basic level (e.g. UX navigation math & logical functions lookup functions etc.)

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills required.

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
