Job Title: Merchandiser
Location: San Marcos- At this time we are only considering local candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00am-1:30pm/FINISH Occasional Weekends as Needed
Hours Per Week: Full Time 40 Hrs
Wage: $22-$23.00 per hour
Job Duties: The ideal candidate is expected to be a self-starter with a friendly personality. Must have good people skills and maintain good relationships with customers.
- Employee will be responsible for operating a company vehicle to execute job duties.
- Conduct Walmart store visits based on a set daily schedule.
- Conduct item inventories at each location and email them to distribution and sales manager.
- Stock Walmart shelves as needed and note any product shortages.
- Communicate any store concerns to direct supervisor and any product issues/shortages to store.
- On occasion may need to participate in company sponsored events at local businesses or schools.
- On occasion may need to adjust store inventory route and visit stores outside of normal territory based on departmental need.
- Must be able to lift products up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Maintain a cultivate harmonious relationship with customers co-workers and the general public.
- Prompt and regular attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed: Attention to detail Flexibility with time management/client needs/scheduling Customer-facing experience - comfort with professional interactions Must have a reliable vehicle. (If a company vehicle is not available mileage reimbursement will be provided) Good driving record.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly push pull lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The noise level can be quiet when in the office and can increase to moderate given on job duties for example if working an event being out on the floor at a store etc.
Employment is contingent upon results of post-offer background check drug tests functional assessment and physical.
