Job Summary
Westin Kierland Golf Club located in Scottsdale AZ is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Merchandise Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fastâpaced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofâTroon youll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities of the Merchandise Assistant:
- Assists in managing the retail operation for the Golf Shop
- Monthly inventory count
- Greets guests upon arrival into the Golf Shop
- Prepare all merchandise for the floor
- Assists in creating/receiving Purchase Orders
- Assists in maintaining the golf shop cleaning standards
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Available to work weekends and holidays
Minimum Qualifications for the Merchandise Assistant:
- High School education or its equivalent
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training
Physical Requirements and Other Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Frequent bending turning kneeling and stooping
- Computer skills with Point of Sales (POS) systems and Microsoft applications
- Ability to multi-task: answer phones greet members answer questions sell and place special orders
