What Youll Do:
As a Mental Health Technician you will provide community-based support and skill development to individuals in their homes and throughout the community. This position plays an important role in helping participants build independence and stability.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 supportive services in participants homes and community settings
- Assisting individuals with skill development and daily living supports
- Supporting medication monitoring and wellness routines
- Encouraging progress toward recovery and independence goals
- Documenting services and communicating with the care team
- Part-time 2nd shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
- 2040 hours per week (flexibility a plus)
- Starting pay: $17$18 per hour
- Program operates 365 days per year
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and eligibility to be covered under Elevates insurance to drive company vehicles
- Ability to perform job-related physical tasks including:
- Alternating between sitting and standing
- Walking climbing stairs and stooping
- Lifting up to 10 lbs
- Reaching overhead and below
- Experience in adult care mental health or substance use services preferred
- A caring person-centered approach
- Training and CCS certification are provided upon hire
