Men's Club Rugby Manager (temporarypart-time)

This position will oversee the aspects of Mens Club Rugby Teams administrative efforts that arent managed by the teams student e-board. This includes responsibilities such as organizing the clubs annual alumni golf tournament fundraiser working with the league and overseeing the teams endowment. The position will work closely with the teams executive board and head coach. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Club Sports and indirectly to all Campus Recreation professional staff members and the teams officers. The Mens Club Rugby team falls under Campus Recreation and is not associated with Athletics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide skill development for college students and cater to a variety of skill levels
• To organize safe and appropriate sport sessions
• To supervise/mentor/guide the participating members of each club
• Attend all team practices and games
• Duty to act in an emergency by performing emergency evacuations; provide First-Aid CPR AED based on current certification
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in coaching or participating in specific sport
• Flexible availability and high level of responsibility
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent
• First-Aid CPR AED & Blood Borne Pathogen certifications- must receive within 90 days of starting.

This is a part-time temporary non-unit non-benefited position. Anticipate Hours 4 to 6 Hours Per Week
