Member/Activity Assistant
Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Elite Day Center is currently looking for an energetic caring and reliable individual to care for the Members at our location in AIKEN SC- a medical adult day care provider.
- Provide hands on ADL care to Members/Clients of the day center as needed/ordered (Toileting Feeding Assistance with ambulation & activities)
- Serve catered lunch and snacks according to instructions.
- Provide opportunities for socialization for the Members Lead and assist with activities based on activity calendar
- Interacting and keep Members engaged throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean environment for the Members of the Center with daily cleaning tasks
- Documentation of participation in activities and progress toward activity goal
- Redirect members with behaviors in a calm manner adhere to members rights and privacy
- Experience working with adults with various disabilities and special needs preferred
- Experience working with Alzheimers/Dementia preferred.
Job Type: Full-Time
Requirements:
Must be willing do undergo background check drug test and obtain TB test
Current CPR or willing to obtain
