Member Service Lead

Job Summary
The Member Service Lead (MSL) facilitates member service transactions and supports services to positively impact member experience sales and service expectations. The MSL is responsible for suggesting appropriate credit union solutions based on individual member financial needs
- Strengthen Member and Business relationships
- Contribute to overall branch productivity goals
- Accurately and efficiently process member financial transactions
- Proactively identify opportunities to provide product/service solutions to members
- Meet and exceed team scorecard and performance management metrics
- Mentor front-line MSR I to III branch staff for the purpose of achieving team and personal success
- Meet MSR I to III standards including balancing the branch daily and reporting differences according to Northwest Federals reporting procedures
- Analyze evaluate approve and fund loans according to NWFCU Lending policy
- Provide notary services
- Act as Assistant Treasurer in the absence of management including Signature Guarantees
- Open and close the branch under dual control and/or operating the branch in the absence of branch management
- Provide operational oversight support and resolve escalated requests
- Advanced knowledge of the core processing systems check negotiation and cash handling along with Federal Regulations required by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA)
- Other duties as assigned
- Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service with cash handeling
- Minimum 1 year of financial institution experience
- Accuracy and detail orientation
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of NWFCU Federal and state regulations required by the National Credit Union Association
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and/or with members
- Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy and to exercise sound judgment logic and initiative while maintaining member confidentiality
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Effective sales techniques
- Ability to use standard banking and office equipment and systems; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work Monday-Thursday 9AM -5PM Friday 9AM-6PM and Saturday 9AM-1PM
