• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs that power core product features.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from concept through to production ensuring high-quality code and rapid deployment.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI-powered functionalities.
• Engage in system design discussions contributing to the architecture of distributed systems.
• Deliver features quickly in a fast-paced startup environment enhancing product capabilities and user experience.
• Tackle complex engineering challenges making informed trade-offs to achieve optimal solutions.

• 28 years of experience in full-stack engineering with a strong focus on backend and platform engineering.
• Proficiency in TypeScript with the ability to learn additional languages such as Go or Python.
• Proven track record of building new systems or products from scratch in high-growth startup settings.
• Demonstrated ownership of projects showcasing the ability to drive initiatives from inception to completion.
• Experience with scalable backend services and familiarity with distributed architecture principles.

• Background in AI infrastructure or experience building AI-powered features and integrations.
• Previous experience at early-stage to mid-stage startups with a strong engineering culture.
• Evidence of fast career progression including high-impact projects and leadership in engineering initiatives.
