About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on experienced Medication Technician to join our healthcare family. Youll be responsible for providing essential care by accurately administering medications and treatments to our residents. Youll ensure their well-being by maintaining precise records ensuring every dose is accounted for and documented correctly. Your careful attention to detail and ability to follow protocols will be key to providing the high-quality care our community deserves.

What Youll Do

• Be a Patient Advocate: Actively assist nursing staff with direct patient care and respond to resident needs.
• Ensure Accuracy & Safety: Meticulously manage medications transcribe doctors orders and monitor for drug interactions.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Handle crucial administrative tasks including ordering medications and supplies and communicating with doctors and families.
• Collaborate and Report: Partner with nursing staff and leadership by reporting any discrepancies to the Director of Nursing.
• Monitor Vitals: Take and record residents vitals and assist in resident care emergencies as needed.

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• CPR certified Food handlers certificate
• CNA/HCA certified
• One (1) year experience preferred.
• Senior living or geriatric experience preferred.
