The successful candidate:

• Requires Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent. (BS Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science; Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with MT certification.
• Certification required (ASCP AMT or AAB) or eligible to take exam. Must successfully complete certification (ASCP AMT or AAB) within 18 months of completed graduation from an accredited college or university.
• Prefer a minimum of 2 years hospital or clinic experience.

• Computer skills and knowledge of printers fax machines photocopier and phone system operation.
• Working and theoretical knowledge of laboratory instrumentation & procedures.
• Ability to make independent judgment with speed and accuracy
