Job Summary

Position Details:

Position: Medical Technologist
Location: Detroit MI
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Shift: Afternoon Shift (2:30 PM 11:00 PM)

Local candidates may be interviewed in person

Required Qualifications:

Current BLS Certification
Certification through a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
Minimum 2 3 years of recent experience as a Medical Technologist or in a similar laboratory role
Experience with Beckman Coulter instrumentation (AU system experience preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency
Operate troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment
Adhere to quality control procedures and laboratory safety standards
Analyze and report test results in a timely manner

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support quality patient care
