Description

Lutheran Services Carolinas (LSC) is seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Assistant to join our team at Trinity Village. This role is essential in supporting the medical records process and ensuring accurate organized and compliant documentation for resident care.

The Health Information Assistant provides clerical and recordkeeping support within the nursing station helping maintain efficient operations while supporting both clinical and administrative teams.

24 hours/week Every Other Weekend Required Weekend Shift Differential

What Youll Do
  • Manage and maintain medical records including scanning filing and documentation
  • Assist with electronic health record (EHR) accuracy and updates
  • Support communication between clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Answer and direct calls and assist with nursing station operations
  • Prepare reports and coordinate lab and pharmacy-related documentation
  • Maintain supply inventories and assist with administrative tasks
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all regulations
What Were Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with medical office procedures and recordkeeping
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and handle multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and medical records systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Schedule & Benefits
