We are seeking a Medical Receptionist with excellent administrative skills and a passion for concierge-level customer service. You will be the crucial first point of contact for our Health Center responsible for managing the patient flow coordinating records and supporting the clinical team.
Patient Flow Management: Greet screen schedule and check patients in and out efficiently.
Communication: Perform medical receptionist duties including answering the telephone screening calls taking messages and providing necessary information.
Record Coordination: Obtain verify and update patient information. Request locate send and receive patient medical records.
Administrative Support: Maintain files assist in establishing office systems order office and clinical supplies and assist in the care and maintenance of office equipment.
Support Services: Provide necessary support services to patients and medical staff.
Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
A diploma as a Medical Administrative Assistant from an accredited vocational course is preferred.
Experience (Required):
Minimum two years of administrative assistant experience in a medical office setting.
Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical setting is strongly preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
Proficiency in grammar spelling and punctuation for correspondence and reports.
Strong organizational skills including time management prioritization multitasking and problem-solving.
Skill in operating standard office equipment.
