Job Summary

Starting Hourly: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

We are known for providing the highest quality individualized care for our patients and our team of highly skilled physical therapistswhoare passionate about helping patients achieve their goals.

Currently we are looking for a full time Medical Receptionist for our Sunnyvale location starting in July.

Schedule needed: Monday - Friday 8:15am - 5:15pm

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES
Greets warmly and maintains a friendly welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators and any external connections.
Clearly communicates with all staff including clinical and corporate employees in a friendly and courteous manner
Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism and care in a timely manner and returning VMs same day received. Will maintain higher than 85% answer call rate.
Participates in and adheres to as required the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group Escalates patient issues and concerns as needed to local Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management.
Scheduling patients initial evaluations and follow up visits through plan of care

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a Plus
Possess strong relationship building and customer service skills
Ability to maintain confidential documents
Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively.
Possess strong team player attributes
Ability to multi-task responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with the patients nearby

Education and Experience
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (Must be 18)
Experience: Practice Management System knowledge patient scheduling capabilities and insurance plan understanding. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting some walking bending stooping reaching and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard mouse photocopier telephone calculator and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record prepare and present reports.
