Bachelors degree in physics engineering mathematics or other physical science.

Responsibilities:
Performs patient-specific radiation measurements and calculations quality assurance tests of pencil-beam-scanning proton therapy plans (characteristics with logfile-based reconstructed secondary delivery dose verification) and mechanical characteristics of therapy equipment.
Assists with radiation surveys of treatment rooms as required by the clinics policy and procedures and state and federal regulations.
Follows all medical physics quality assurance procedures and policies.
Monitors and adheres to general radiation safety guidelines.
Hosts and teaches observers including students radiation therapists residents and fellows.
Other duties as assigned.
