We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant Patient Services to join our team at our Wilmington DE (Augustine Cutoff) location.

What Youll Do:
As a Medical Office Assistant Patient Services you will work closely with clinicians physician offices insurance companies and fellow team members to ensure our patients receive timely high-quality care.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients referral sources and healthcare providers.
- Prepare review and process patient work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information within company systems.
- Verify insurance eligibility benefits and obtain required pre-authorizations.
- Gather and submit required documentation for insurance reimbursement.
- Coordinate with clinicians and physician offices to ensure timely patient care.
- Learn and navigate company software phone systems and electronic medical records.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

- Previous medical office or customer service experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology anatomy insurance verification or medical coding is a plus.
