Location: Indianapolis IN (Downtown). This is a hybrid-eligible position with regular in-office presence required near Indianapolis. Ideal for candidates already based in the metro area or within reasonable commuting distance. The firm is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis.

Note: Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on litigation experience in medical malpractice personal injury or mass tort matters. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Indiana. This is a plaintiff-side role applicants should have a genuine commitment to advocating for injured clients.

Job Description

• Manage a caseload of complex medical malpractice matters from initial intake through investigation discovery and trial
• Conduct thorough case investigations including medical record review and coordination with expert witnesses
• Draft and argue pleadings motions and discovery in state and federal court
• Take and defend depositions of parties treating physicians and expert witnesses
• Prepare cases for mediation settlement negotiations and trial and see them through
• Develop and execute litigation strategy in collaboration with attorneys paralegals and support staff
• Build and maintain strong client relationships providing clear consistent communication throughout the process
• Advocate zealously for plaintiffs who have suffered serious harm from medical negligence

Qualifications

• 5 years of litigation experience in medical malpractice personal injury or mass tort matters
• Active Indiana Bar license required
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to manage a complex multi-case docket and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated commitment to plaintiff-side advocacy
• Experience taking or defending depositions preferred
