We are seeking Medical Laboratory Technician/Hematology to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia CA.

Job Summary:
Perform routine hematology and laboratory testing procedures while ensuring accurate documentation data review and compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. This is an office-based role scheduled TuesdaySaturday 2:00 PM10:30 PM.
What Youll Be Doing:
  • Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
  • Review routine data to confirm analytical procedures are performing as expected and results are within acceptable tolerances
  • Identify unusual results or performance issues and escalate to senior laboratory personnel
  • Prepare data analysis results for upload into the Laboratory Information Management System under the guidance of senior staff
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as assigned
  • Support quality investigations deviations procedural updates and implementation of laboratory changes
  • Guide entry-level staff on routine procedures and support onboarding and hands-on training activities
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Some College of American Pathologists and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments laboratory locations may require a Bachelor of Science in chemical physical biological or clinical laboratory science medical laboratory technology or cytotechnology
  • 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment
  • Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards such as Good Laboratory Practices
  • Proficiency with laboratory techniques automation or specialized laboratory equipment and Laboratory Information Management System supported workflows
  • Other equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple laboratory tasks simultaneously
  • Good computer skills using Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and communicate clearly accurately and in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety infection control procedures standard precautions and hazardous chemical handling
  • Ability to perform routine and some non-routine laboratory calculations including averages means standard deviations and quality control metrics
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequent standing and walking occasional sitting close eye work requirement (computer typing reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role when annualized is $41400.00 - $86100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge skills education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered incentive plans bonuses and/or other forms of compensation may be offered in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
